gassProductions is gearing up for a lengthy period of filming in Bermuda for TV series Ocean Vet.
The first stage of filming in Bermuda (April 2014) went without a hitch.
The weather was more than a little testing, high winds and rolling sea’s made things tricky.
The Ocean Vet series consists of 12 exciting episodes that follow the exploits of veterinarian Doctor Neil Burnie.
Neil is transferring his veterinary skills to help save, protect and learn more about Bermuda’s stunning marine life.
We are in the final stages of pre-production. This series is by far one of the most ambitious projects to date. 20 heavy flight cases, filled with cameras and filming equipment will leave the gass studio on the 7th of June. It’s going to be a long shoot, but Bermuda is a stunning place, we’re pumped!
We have an international team of scientists, toxicologists, underwater videographers and specialist divers assisting production. We’re not just making a great TV show, we’re doing some genuine groundbreaking science too.
Its been well over a year to get to this stage. We are all very excited about the start of the main shoot period.
