ANDREW SMITH

Company MD and gassProductions series producer Andrew Smith has a wealth of experience producing all over the world.

Andrew is an environmental entrepreneur and filmmaker who is dedicated to protecting wildlife for future generations.

After completing his degree in journalism and filmmaking, Andrew started the company “gassProductions” to create films for good.

Since then, Andrew has produced several award-winning television series in the Natural History, Science/Technology and Adventure genres.

Andrew’s last project ‘Ocean Vet’ saw him working closely with Dr. Neil Burnie and a team of scientists to study the behaviour of marine wildlife in order to better protect the species.

Andy’s knowledge and experience makes him an instrumental member of the gasProductions team.


DAN RADFORD

Creative director Dan Radford has a wealth of experience filming all over the world.

Dan formed “gassproductions” alongside Andrew Smith in 2006.

Over the years Dan’s experience writing, directing, filming and editing all of gassProductions video projects has built a wealth of expertise in all aspects of broadcast television and produced award winning work.

Dan began his TV career working in Westminster for BBC News and spent 10 years working with various journalists, presenter and producers broadcasting TV, documentary and international news stories.

Dan’s a qualified PADI advanced open water diver and has experience filming underwater.

Dan began his TV career at the BBC and spent 10 years working for the BBC News team. Dan has co-written, directed, filmed and edited 2 TV series.


ANDREW KIRKPATRICK

Andrew Kirkpatrick is a freelance cameraman who has worked with gassProductions for the last 2 years.

Andrew owns and runs Burnt House Productions from his studio in Bermuda.

Andrew is an extremely talented underwater cameraman. Species he’s filmed include humpback whales, tiger sharks, galapagos sharks, green sea turtles and spotted eagle rays.

When he’s not underwater Andrew films and edits for a range of international broadcast clients.

This viral video he created for the Pharrell Williams track Happy was featured on the Oprah Winfrey show.


CATHERINE CAPON

Catherine Capon

Catherine Capon where she’s happiest, out in the field!

Catherine joined in mid 2016 in the capacity of writer, presenter and producer.

Her extensive knowledge and expertise of global conservation coupled with her marine biology credentials make her a welcome addition to the gassProductions team.

Cat fearless passion has driven to work with some of the worlds most elite brands and personnel, such as Richard Branson.

Cat runs her own website and Youtube channel, updated regularly with content from her conservation work abroad, you can follow some of her amazing wildlife adventures by going  here

Cat’s natural passion and enthusiasm for conservation and wildlife, along with her talent and experience makes for a perfect synergy, a natural talent in any tv production crew.
