gassProductions was recently commissioned to make some promotional videos on work abroad and internship programs offered by Tamwood and Go international.
The films were shot over a 2 week period in Canada, with locations including Vancouver and Whistler.
The films were then cut in the UK for distribution via Tamwood and Go International's website. Also included was the production of a Master DVD for duplication by Tamwood and Go for it's agents.
This program concentrated on the Language school that Tamwood international runs in Vancouver.
Another popular package offered by Go International is a canadian working holiday, this way tparticipants can earn some money whilst also being able to take advantage of the slopes of Whistler.
Go international offer many programs like this, and are now promoting these packages using online video.
Having finished 6 films for their winter programs gassProductions is looking forward to working with them again in 2009 for their summer holiday programs.
gassProductions was recently commissioned to create a number of films for Tamwood & Go International based in Vancouver and Whistler BC.
Students are predominately here to learn English but due to the schools fantastic and unique location students take advantage of many activities organised by Tamwood.
This commission completes gassProduction's experience of filming in the different climates on earth, although the conditions were cold and testing we managed to interview Tamsin Plaxton MD of Tamwood & Go International at the top of Whistler mountain, 7156 feet above sea level with temperatures as low as -14 degrees.This film was also created for Tamwood International; the film explores the positive aspects of studying at the Tamwood School in Vancouver.
This film was commissioned to have a more serious theme unlike the whistler film which tends to be more about the activities.
Students come to this school form all around the world to take part in a number of specialised English teaching programs; the young lady in this film is on the general English program in Vancouver.
This Film was shot along with five others over a two-week period in Canada, the films was edited in out UK studio and finally delivered to tamwood on DVD and a multitude of web formats.
In 2007 gassProductions was commissioned to make promotional internet videos for Real Gap experience.
The projects were based in South Africa where gap year volunteers are given the opportunity to take part in a number of wildlife projects.
Whilst on location we were fortunate enough to film Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Rino and Leopards along with many animals which were cared for at national parks & reptile centre's.
The projects filmed in Africa included a horseback safari, a monkey rehabilitation centre, a wildlife conservation project and a wild coast volunteer project.
gassProductions is also able to film underwater,
one of the projects we visited in Ecuador was focused around the study of coral and manta rays in the sea's surrounding Porto Lopez.
This video was part of a project with Real Gap to create online video content for their website.
The films offer an insight into the details of the projects and what the volunteers can expect.
Other projects which we have filmed underwater include a marine conservation program in The Perinthian Islands, Malaysia and some of the marine wildlife on the Gallapagos islands.
Social projects continue to remain a popular choice amoung people taking gap years.
This film was about a social project offered by Real Gap in Thailand, where volunteers were able to help at a local school, equally experiencing the culture of this unique country.
The film was shot in standard definition over a period of 5 days on location in Thailand, and edited in house at the gassProductions edit suite in Kent, England.
We are able to publish videos to all broadcast formats with support for Blu-ray and all web video formats.
gassProductions was also sent to India to film 2 social projects.
This film was shot in Himachal Pradesh, and is about the teaching project offered by Real Gap in this region of India.
The project aims to enrich volunteers experience of the country, by giving them the opportunity to learn the local language and teach a variety of classes including English, IT and Maths.
It also offers the volunteers the opportunity to help at local orphanages.
The Generator hostel in London is unlike many other hostels, with many services offered to its guests for free, and FUN absolutely guaranteed, why would you want to stay anywhere else.
Gassproductions was commisioned to make a promotional video for the hostel that would encompass the mood and atmosphere of this unique accomodation.
With a growing number of hostel websites, this video was designed to portray more than just "slideshow" photographs,.so the audience can get a feel for the location and the surrounding areas.
The video went live on Friday the 15th of August 2008 and its popularity and hits continue to grow.
